05:34 - poor wording, I meant "second launch site" for right now, obviously the US has had more than just 39A througout history! 😀

Stoke is doing some really cool stuff! It's neat to see that they've gotten to a hop test. That thing really flew like a myFirstHover flight in a Kerbal Operating System hop test :P

Edit: Holy crap Firefly launching within 27 hours of receiving the order is insane!

Hi Matt, I wanted to tell you that you were the reason I purchased KSP and yesterday I landed on the mun for the first time

My favourite launch was the rapid fire, Firefly launch, I think that was an outstanding achievement to get it all successfully done in such a short time frame!

5:33 Second ever SpaceX crewed launch site. For the US, LC-5 and LC-14 were used in Mercury crew flights. LC-19 was used for all the Gemini crew flights. LC-34, LC-39A, and LC-39B were all used in the Apollo crew flights. And the Shuttles used both LC-39A and LC-39B.

I love when astronauts come back from space and give interviews and occasionally forget that Gravity exists again xD

I'm one of the 3 still watching! I liked the not-quite-aerospike hop test. It was a great little grain silo!

Seeing starship being moved by the chopsticks is truely amazing! I’ve been keeping up with spacex for years thanks to you Matt, and it’s awesome to see things in such a refined state. Heres hoping for a good launch!

I think they are going to be getting rid of the launch points on the front on future iterations so they don't need to be sealed after positioning. They will be using the under winglet lift points to transfer the vehicle so the nose lift points should no longer be required after the heat shield is in place.

Wait, is the Stoke hopper the first Aerospike ever flown now? That's huge!

Personally i'm much more worried about what the Fish and Wildlife Service have to say than Matt seems to be.

Given that launch one resulted in them throwing large chunks of concrete far and wide as well as coating a large chunk of nature reserve in a layer of concrete dust, which apparently was an outcome they hadn't even identified as a potential outcome for launch one.

Hopefully they've done enough to convince everyone that the launch pad can't fail in that way again and that launch two results in no significant damage to the pad, otherwise if something similar happens again i could see them being forced to build a completely new launch pad before being allowed to conduct launch 3, which would take a
