This may well be the best (or near to it) Trauersmarsch I've ever heard. Han-Na Chang shows great insight. By using tiny bits of rubato and imperfection in the opening dirge, she makes it sound like sad people walking to a grave. Not many conductors get that right. They tend to make it sound more like a footrace, not like grieving persons just trying to put one foot in front of the other, while doing something that causes them sadness. Bravo Maestro Chang! I hope to hear more from you.

Marvelous performance! Bravo to Maestra Chang for following Mahler's performance direction for the Scherzo. 😀 A wonderful orchestra!

Thank You~~!!!♡♡♡

Such a fine decision having the first horn in front of the audience for the Scherzo. Should be tried more often.

Very good vision of the Condactor. The Orchestra well beyond the fact that so few musicians take the trouble to look at the instructions and gestures of the Assemblator, common in almost all orchestras in the world.
As a student of Orchestral Conducting, I find tuning in the Concert Hall extremely unpleasant and in very bad taste. That is what the Rehearsal Room is for, but not in front of the public.
It is my very humble opinion.

Maybe grinning and giggling to the orchestra just as you give the downbeat not the best way to start this piece, which is very dark fact its supposed to be a funeral march

Brass section was disappointing overall. The brass in my volunteer community orchestra played this symphony better.
