From an audio engineer, I am sorry this happened to you. In 25 years I have never had a monitor speaker fail in a way that caused a gunshot level sound and I hope it never does. I am sure the engineer feels terrible.

I’m studying speech pathology and i found this fascinating that your stutter returned because your ear drum had issues. Sounds like your equilibrium got off balance. You are amazing in the way you kept going.

I was at this show. I'm so sorry this happened, and while most of the crowd was sympathetic and supportive, I'm so sorry for the idiots yelling dumb things, too. I felt so stressed and worried for you as you tried to finish things out - you didn't owe us that and your own health and safety were the most important thing.

So glad to see you're OK. Loved the show. I hope your hearing recovers fully and that there are no lingering effects.
