if there was a background character aesthetic I would definitely fall right into that. I don't really dress in a certain aesthetic due to the fact that I think I look stupid in anything other than jeans and a t-shirt although I think I fall under the artistic or skater girl category (and yes I don't skate) I like weird core/dream core music and I'm not sure what to believe or not anymore.

Btw just a reminder: Kidcore is often associated with the indie aesthetic and melded into it, that photo you showed was most likely decora kei which isn’t an aesthetic but moreso an actual fashion movement alongside harujuku styles originating from Japan

Kidcore, indie, y2k, fairy grunge, and old money are probably my favorite aesthetics. They just make me feel comfortable and pretty— I always switch between them depending on my feelings that morning.

My favourite aesthetic is called "Webcore" an it's basically an aesthetic that centers around video games and the internet at its prime, It's an aesthetic that focuses on self-expression as well as nostalgia and themes of anxiety and escapism

My aesthetic is mixed of Dark Naturalism, Fairycore, and Etherealcore. My aesthetic is not something that I wear, but usually something that I will create. I also listen to musical artists that matches those aestheics just like AURORA, Florence the Machine, and Agnes Obel

Im a big fan of kidcore and weirdcore. I thought kidcore seemed like something that reminds me of the good old childhood days, and it seems really fun. as for weirdcore its hard to explain, it just reminds me of things im going through, and gives me so much nostalgia.

What you said was "weirdcore" Is actually dreamcore. Weirdcore is a image related aesthetic, the two get mixed up a lot and more people need to know this.

I love the cottagecore, vintage, and artistic aesthetics! Cottagecore seems so relaxing and it also looks like it could be a great stress-reliever, which is something every person needs. Vintage just looks so confident and to the people who wear vintage, I respect you. And then, there's artistic, which is something I wish I could wear. I can't tho because my mom has to buy (welcome to having north african parents) all my clothing and she just brings boring but trendy clothing.

The indie that is showed isn’t indie at all, it’s actually kidcore. Indie is grey and foggy and dark while kidcore is bright and nostalgic. The kidcore shown is actually called decora kei, a Japanese fashion movement. There are a buncha different subgenres of decora fashion, but the colorful, neon one is the most recognized.
