to find an aesthetic that truly suits you you don't go to pinterest or tiktok and just take what people are wearing. you look at the things you gravitate to outside of clothing and then your aspects of the aesthetics you like.

for me i love dreamy but "edgy" music, fantasy and mythical creatures and monster, and anything to do with nature. i also love grunge, punk, "goblincore", and eclectic old timey interior design. so i've combined all those parts of my interest to make my wardrobe and one day home to reflect that and my interests.

now i have an eclectic forest grunge "goth" aesthetic and i've never been happier with the way i look, because i tailored an aesthetic to me and not the other way around.
