How to know what your aesthetic is

Hey everyone! Here is a video talking about how to find your aesthetic, or how to know what your aesthetic is. Of course you can have multiple favorite aesthetics and your favorites can change over time. Wether it be cottagecore, vaporwave, kidcore, weirdcore, dreamcore, grunge, dark or light academia, I'm gonna help you figure it out! Of course these are all just fashion and designs that are used to represent yourself and shouldn't be taken very seriously. So don't stress it too much if you can't easily find one or any that fit you! It's all just for fun.

I love making up very specific aesthetics like 18th-century-sea-captain-core or consumption core.
Also for inspiration there are a bunch of aesthetic generators out there that you can use to find a new aestethic to try out.

My aesthetic is ~30 year old who never outgrew their goth/emo phases, but DID get very lazy and too tired to put in the effort so just has a wardrobe of exclusively black leggings, black hoodies and pullover sweaters, black socks, black hats, black jackets, black shoes, and black hats and undergarments. The only visible difference from outfit to outfit is the shirts.

I remember tried finding an aesthetic that I liked on the SAME website you’ve suggested, and I figured out that I like scene from the 2000s and 2010s! I love all the bright and bold neon colours with some black and creepy cute features in it. I also love all the art and people wearing scene clothing and stuff

Back when I was a bit younger the kawaii aesthetic was absolutely perfect to me, I wanted to live in such a pretty way and do the stuff I love this way!
I was not particularly annoying nor forcing my personality to be kawaii, but sadly people around me (especially my friends) started to tell me how cringe I was, how I should grow out of it and how stupid it was.
It truly broke me, and I just came back to just wear basic plain stuff like white shirts with jeans, out of fear of my friends and family’s judgement

Everytime I would see someone dressed kawaii, my eyes would shine and I would find them just so pretty, that my introversion would totally go away and I would straight up tell them how pretty and gorgeous they were, full of regret to have abandoned what I loved the most

I am now growing up even more, and spreading the message to believe in what you’re doing, and if it doesn’t work out, change, but change because YOU wanted it and not because people around you find you ridiculous

My aesthetic is emo/scene of the 2000s and 2010s. I love it and it fits me real well, it just took me my whole life until two years ago to realize that. I always knew I liked alternative aesthetics but just didn’t realize there were specifics ones until later. i found my aesthetic by liking the music first :3

I'm one of those people that love horror. Mostly creepy dolls like Chucky but I don't think they have an aesthetic for that but it feels like a mix between kidcore and horror. We will call it spookcore or better horrorcore by shibathegamer. We will also have Chuckycore

Mine is like a mix of goblincore, weirdcore and alt. Like most of my clothes are colourful but desaturated. I also love mushrooms so much like I even have a journal to write about and paint different mushrooms

I am in love with way too many aesthetics! I made a list of the aesthetics I love a while ago! I’m pretty sure there is around 120 of them on said list!!! But my ultimate favourite would probably be either kawaii or cottagecore!!!

My Aesthetic is called the "Pops Wows" I made it, it's is any not normal 2 color combinations (like "purple and red" and "Blue and Orange), and also you need a mixture of liking horror or thriller, AND a fantasy cartoon or anime, when you got them all you can say it's your aesthetic.

I would say Vaporwave and American or Swiss military clothes (The American ones because I really like the old uniforms and camouflage, and the Swiss ones simply because it’s my country and I love the fact we use red on our camouflage). These are two really different types of aesthetics, but since I love both and I think they suit me well too, it doesn’t matter at all!

well i think i’m somewhere between dark academia, fantasy/forest, city (not as much) and soft/kawaii/pastel (those all fall in pretty much the same category) as far as visuals anyways
however, for my clothing, i don’t think i have a certain style/aesthetic i dress in, i kinda just like trying different styles, it’s all appealing to me so yea💕

I’m very versatile. There’s a lot of aesthetics I like. I do like galaxies, listening to melodic dubstep, aliens, sci-fi, cities, nighttime, jazzy bars, musicals and stuff similar to that!
