Thanks for the vid. I don’t give weatherby enough attention since they don’t have the chamberings I prefer, but they make great rifles.

Love the Weatherby lineup. I own 3 of the 5 you've mentioned, plus I have a 338-378 in place of the 340. I think the 240 is another one that is underrated. For a 6mm, it is quite a little power house. Thanks for the video. Excellent as always.

Great list. I agree that the 300 is about as good as it gets. The 257 is so underrated. I have used it more for the last three years and just absolutely love how it anchors game.

I agree that the 257 Wby is very underrated. It is a true mice to moose cartridge in my book at the right distances. I also am a 300 Bee fan.

I've had my left handed Mark V Lazermark in .300 WBY since 1983 (I bought it new at Weatherby in South Gate, CA) . I love it so much I just might request to be buried with it. One of the things I like about the .300 WBY is you can upload or download your reloads for specific game or hunting conditions. Very versatile without having to have an arsenal of hunting rifles in your gun safe. The recoil isn't that bad, so I ordered mine without a muzzle brake as a lot of guides (at least back then) won't take on clients with muzzle braked rifles.

Great vid and channel, like the line up . I have the 6.5/300, 270wby, 7mmwby, 300wby, and 340 wby. I would hate to choose one if I did it would be a toss up between the 300 wby or 340 wby . They are beast and very versatile

I use the .270 Weatherby Mag, and it is the best shooting round I have ever used. I once took a 250 pound feral hog from about 200 yards. Entered the chest slightly on its left side, when it came out, it took the entire right rear ham with it. It dropped instantly. Used the 140 grain Nosler bullet. Any rifle after this will be something in Weatherby Mag!

Great video, Weatherby rifles and calibers are great.

My main hunting rifle is a 300 RUM, 26" barrel, 180 grain Nosler Accubond. Using 95.0 grains of Reloader 25 my magnetospeed reads 3400 avg fps. I imagine a 28" barrel might get me 3475ish fps. The RUM matches the 30-378 for velocities with a touch less powder with no belt on the case.

I like what they've done with the 6.5 RPM. Nice to finally see something beltless. It won't ever go anywhere though since you can get virtually the same performance in a short action with the 6.5 PRC.
For me I think I would have the 270 on the list over 6.5-300, but the 6.5 is truly a stand alone in its class.

Love all of Wby Magnum calibers and rifles. As a handloader for thirty years, I've pretty much got all of the bases covered. Took an off hand shot at a nice mulie in Wyoming last month about two hundred yards away. The .257 Wby did it's job, but due to operator error, did not recover the buck. Lost the blood trail.😖

I saw Mark V in .257 with a Loupold scope at a pawn shop last week and was very tempted.
