It is such a hard disagree with the macbook pro. The m2 macbooks are simply not as versatile or powerful as the m1 pro macbooks. Let alone an m1max. m2 is showing very little perfomance increases over m1 in the air. and no air beats m1pro or m1max.

iPad Mini is still amazing, especially if you just need something portable and easy for media or kids, MacBook Pro M1 is still absolutely amazing imo, and iMac you can wait or you can just buy it now, you’re not really losing anything by buying it now

I disagree with the MacBook Pro. I actually think it is smarter to buy now a MacBook Pro with M1, instead of waiting for the next MacBook Pro with a M2 Chip.
First the Performance increase in the MacBook Air with the M2 wasn’t so much better, so I don’t think the M2 Pro or M2 Max will be a huge difference. But something that’s gonna change definitely is the Price. The next MacBooks will be way more expensive and I don’t think it is gonna worth it.

You don’t get an iPad mini for peak performance, you get it for its smaller form factor. The M1 air is still a good value product not everyone is willing to spend 1200 on a M2 air for little performance gain.

With your logic of waiting for the next new and better model because it is right around the corner, no one would ever by any electronic let alone Apple. The speed difference will be insignificant from M1 to M2 regardless of the numbers they try to sell you on. Just how all electronics, especially computers companies do it.

I’d disagree with a lot of the macs (exception of the Mac Pro) the M1 chip is amazing and a refurbished M1 computer of any model is usually a fantastic deal. Additionally, the iPad mini kinda has a specific market that is only worth it if you know exactly what you’re using it for.

Depends on what you need the device for. Especially if you need something right now and can’t wait. An example, I had bought my mother an iPad mini because she needed something simple for her workflow with designing, and it’s much more portable and easier to carry than the others

probably good to mention that if youre living outside the US most if not all of the refreshes will cost more because of inflation. Especially in europe. in the UK expect the macbooks and imacs to go up by £200~ so these would probably be better value regardless.
