Knowing that Apple 🍎 is constantly updating, my train of thought is: If I need the product now, buy it. I will simply then skip the next "update cycle" and get a future update when I need the device again, and it all nets out in the long-run.

Got an 11 pro max yesterday. I find with tech, that it's always tempting to wait for the next best thing (especially in PC gaming) but if everyone did that we'd always be holding back and waiting for a new release. Get the best tech you can afford at the time you want to upgrade. There'll always be something bigger and better coming.

10:51 but the A12Z (and even A12X from the 2018 iPad Pro) is still more powerful than the A14... they'd have to have made it an A14X or something to make it worthwhile

I'm using an i7 Mac Mini 2018 right now. I was hesitant buying at first. But I've been so satisfied for the past 6 months using it.
Eapecially having minimal space requirement living in a small apartment in the city urban. The iMac 27inch, regardless of the price and value, is quite big and bulky for many people. I move almost every year, and that bulkyness is a major issue. I don't think the Mac mini 2018 is overpriced, compared to other Mac products. One thing I would like from the Mac mini is having more graphics power. The 8th gen UHD 630 isn't bad, but there seems to be a big difference from the 10th gen G7 graphics. I would buy that Mac mini on the day it arrives. Of course, it doesn't seem like it will happen since the Apple's ARM migration and all of that.

I have been waiting for a mbp 13 since 2019 after i heard the rumors about the magic keyboard in 2020, and i just got it yesterday and i am super happy. I mean i don't think that in couple of months we will be getting something ground shaking, breath taking products from apple that will lead to each customers who have bought an apple product in early/mid 2020 to be full of regret and disapointment.
