I found your account about two months ago...and I suddently became a widow 3 weeks ago. After 22 years of marrige. I am now 45 years. I would like you to know that your videos is so comforting for me too wach. Often in the background. I admire you, and it gives me strength to know I will make it alone with my 3 children <3

The wonderful thing about your wardrobes and other creations is that they are unique. They are not just something bought from the shops. They are your personal design made to fit your tastes. Love your work.

The Devil is in the Details, but once the inertia is overcome and those boring tasks are are completed, what a lovely feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction arises.

Your attention to detail has paid off Rosie. I know you felt that you had not achieved much but trust me, the end result is beautiful. X

Hi Rosie - Canadian fan here.
I only discovered your videos when you posted your 3 year recap. I was hooked then and went back and watched them all from the beginning. My admiration for your tenacity and self reliance has only grown.
I know you have your future projects all planned. Here are a couple of suggestions only.
I would love to see you tackle the attic. I really feel you could turn it into a dream bedroom and sanctuary. You have the skills now.
The other area I believe you could benefit from re-doing is your storage shed in the back. Now that you have completed the downstairs, you have made a larger living space but lost storage and work space. The shed could be enhanced to become a dream workshop for you that you could use all year round in all weather. You could even add additional storage for supplies and even a wood stove for winter use. It could be very cozy.
At the same time you could upgrade your outdoor shower with a reliable water heater so you could have hot water on demand. You deserve that.
Whatever you decide to tackle in year four, I am with you. Your design skills and vision are exemplary. Your construction skills are up there with the pros now. I used to live in Japan and appreciate that you are drawn to their aesthetics of simplicity and lines.
Thank you for many enjoyable hours of viewing. 😊

The detail work that takes time is like the middle miles of a long hike ... the beginning is always exciting, the end is always an achievement ... but those middle miles, thats where we find out who we really are. Job well done Rosie
😊👌

For every project 90 percent of work takes 10 percent of time.
But the last small details, the last 10 percent, take 90 percent of time. Love how everything turns out.

The little cupboard knobs are so cute, and I think the height you put them is perfect, the whole unit is just beautiful, can't wait to see the cushions on it, the whole room is just so cozy...the sun shining in is so welcoming, makes this room just dreamy...your videos and editing skills are showing...well done Rosie, jobs finished as Spring peeks around the corner...!

My favorite parts of your builds are always the tiny details: today the borehole covers, the elegant quarter rounds, and those beautiful knobs. So I'm glad for us that this was a meditation on finishing the wardrobe and not moving on to the next thing quite yet. There is always something cute and unexpected that comes from these. So glad you, too, are happy with the results.

I really appreciate you showing little boring tasks and talking about lack of motivation in completing those. Just what I needed to hear (and do myself). Thank you! ❤

A trick to lower the cost is to buy half grinded wood in sweden where one is planed one is raw cut. Since most do not require planed on both sides it is half of the cost basically and can be bought in larger stacks as it is mainly used on the house exteriors but is much better to build with as it is rigid.
