I AM MOVING TO...... BULGARIA! (or at least trying to)

After going over MANY different options, I have finally concluded that BULGARIA is the country that I would like to move to! Sadly the paperwork is taking longer than expected to come through, so it is not absolutely guaranteed at this point, but more than likely things should be fine and I should be able to make Sofia my home before the end of the year! In this video I will go over why I chose Bulgaria over other options and why this is such an underrated country, even from just a tourist perspective!

I have been looking at Bulgaria as a possible location to move to for some time now. I've visited: the first time only for a few days in 2019, then for 5 weeks in 2021 (amid COVID), when I traveled across a wide swath of the country, staying in Sofia, Plovdiv, Stara Zagora, Veliko Tarnovo and Varna a week each. Like you, the low cost of living is a big attraction, as well as the abundance of culture. I still remember the first time I visited Sofia: from the imposing Stalinist style architecture of the Largo, to the Roman ruins of Serdika, to the neo-Byzantine churches like Sveta Nedelya and Alexander Nevsky, to Ottoman mosques and Jewish synagogues all within a 10-min walk from one another. And the rest of the country is equally enthralling, both in natural and historical beauty.
