No problem just rush KTs and Mech then focus on air. It's beautiful to see 120, 20 width heavy tank divisions roll over the Soviet horde.

(Just be prepared to sell your civs, your son, and your soul to the USA to have enough oil)

Playing as the soviets is just plain easy. I always make england go non aligned and
France go fascist as a challenge when i play with the soviets.
This is in single player btw

I remember playing as Turkey and destroying half of the soviet army in the caucasus with just micro managing 2 tank divisions to pocket them

Justify and declare war on Mongolia. It draws USSR in and they don't have there great patriotic war buff. Then let them ware themselves out on you while you just defend the line. Then attack when they are out of equipment.
