This is one of the great 'cozy mystery' films of its time. It began my love for brooding mysteries that take place in one location on rainy nights. (A niche genre, to be sure, but there ya go.) It probably breaks a record for Most Use of Stock Footage Train Shots in one movie.

One of the best! I’ve been watching all the old Basil Rathbone Sherlock episodes. Some have been remastered beautifully which I am very grateful for because I first saw them in the 90s on vhs 📼 which had Terrible quality!

This is fantastic, i bought Hound of the Baskervilles on blu ray and the transfer to HD was terrible. This is what i was expecting. I would buy the box set if they were all done like this.👍👍👍

Someone came up with the idea of putting Sherlock Holmes in a "Murder on the Orient Express" situation, and came up with Terror by Night. It's not based on any of Arthur Conan Doyle's books, but it's still a favorite.
