I suffered from treatment resistant depression (I call it cancer of the soul) since puberty till I was 53. There's very few antidepressants I didn't try during that period but at best they either helped a bit or not at all. When I was 53 I told the doctor that I wanted to try elavil. On the 5th day someone turned on the lights and I knew we had found the right medication for me. I phoned my doctor in tears saying we finally got it. I'm 62 now and all is well. Cancer of the soul can kiss my a%%. I won.

Does it cause sedation though or drowsiness? Bc they’re not a CNS depressants which CNS depressants cause sedation

Genesight DNA testing can narrow down which antidepressant would be most effective too... i havent done it it. Last dr never heard of it. Depends how advanved your town area demographics. So far ove accepted sleeping all day with one good productive day per week.
