Thank you for this insightful video, I feel I have a better, and more well-rounded, understanding of these drugs. In my psych NP program, tricyclics have been taught as a viable alternative to SSRIs and SNRIs, but definitely not first-line. The side effects have been portrayed as too risky for most patients as a first-line drug. Thoughts?

I find them more effective
And new residents
Are not getting enough
Training on them

They were all the rage and pushed as completely free
Of any side effects but we now
