Just a tip: You need to check the oil when it's hot. If you check it cold/cool it will read a low mark which is not correct. Never check it first thing in the morning before it hasn't been run. People were over filling these machines with oil.

I just change the oil in my 2022 Rmax 2 1000. What a PITA. I noticed when I removed the drain plug on the oil tank, it didn't have a crush washer. Is it supposed to have one?

Wow Yamaha, that’s the worst oil change. I’ve ever done in my entire life. Be very careful with the two plugs in the oil lines. I won’t ever take them out again not worth it.
