I love the fact that all the book covers are based on in universe propaganda posters for the guard. Notice in all the pictures he's using a bolt pistol. Cain never used it in the line of duty mentioning a few times that he much preferred his las pistol over the bulky bolter. Amberly vail also mentioned that the bolter looked better in the posters that the las pistol
