Even though Tesla Model 3 has drastically undermined Nissan’s sales in the EV category, their Leaf 2018 remains among the most desirable affordable electric cars in the world. The new Leaf e-Plus was revealed in the beginning of 2019.
Rivian RT1 is the first all-electric production truck that in 2020, will be built at a former Mitsubishi plant in Illinois. It will have two powertrain options with 402 or 750 hp, AWD, and three battery choices with 105, 135 and 180 kWh capacity.
Byton is the Chinese automotive startup led by the former BMW executives, that is trying to build cars that will become rich men gadgets rather simple just vehicles for daily commute. At the moment they have two vehicles scheduled for production: the crossover-SUV M-Byte and the K-Byte Executive Sedan.
NIO ES6 is a new mid-size SUV from a Chinise manufacturer NIO that will be sold in three modifications powered by a dual-motor AWD system and either a 70 or 84 kWh battery. The SUV is scheduled to start deliveries in the second quarter of 2019.
While the premium members of the VW group Audi and Porsche have already fully revealed their first electric models, the Volkswagen brand itself is going through the testing process.
In 2020, the new Kia Soul boasts of a number of visual upgrades and technical changes that offer enhanced performance, longer driving range, and improved user experience.
Xpeng G3 is the first electric vehicle from a Chinese startup Xiaopeng that was revealed in its production version in early 2019. The compact crossover uses a 197 hp permanent magnet synchronous motor, a 47 kWh battery and, depending on the modification, has from 217 to 226 miles of range.
In order to promote the Leaf EV within the automotive community, Nissan created a custom coupe sports car on top of the existing platform called Nismo RC.
Along the pure Hyudnai Kona EV the company introduced the Nexo hydrogen powered crossover, which is set to replace Tucson Fuel Cell.
2019 Harley Davidson LiveWire
The 2019 model year will be remembered as the start of Harley Davidson’s push to discover new classes of motorcycles attempting to broaden the sales base. Among the first models within this initiative, is the HD Live Wire electric streetfighter.
Biomega Sin is a compact 4-seater crossover with skateboard chassis, lightweight carbon-fiber body construction, and unique swappable battery technology.
