This helped so much instead of my usual way of trying to find slimes now I can do my redstone projects with better ease

IF IT DOES NOT WORK:
-check Y level 39,
-check you afk 24 blocks away
-when it wasn't working for me with these conditions I left and then came back and broke some of the torches and left and ran around a bit and went to the afk place and they started spawning really well, I would recommend just one torch in each corner is enough

ive converted this into a fully automated afk slime farm thanks to magma blocks, iron golem and a hopper minecart for collecting and its so helpful without having to use a sword

This is actually a really good farm bc the actual afk ones be giving waaaay too many slimes and this one gives a good amount to farm

If you have no slimes spawning try dropping your simulated chunks to 4 that worked for me

To automate this just put an iron golem in the center and cage it in fences. Add a few magma blocks around the fences and a minecart hopper underneath for collecting.

Bro slimes are not spawning
I afked for 20min, not a single slime was spawn

I built the farm in the slime chunk and waited 10 minutes and no slime spawn

I can confirm this does work. Just make sure when you use chuck base you are on the correct version of Minecraft.

It works, but chunkbase was 1 block out so had to a couple edits but it DOES work
