For anyone studying with a English/Welsh exam board. Advanced Level is comparable to first year/AS Level Maths. Extension 1 is comparable to 2nd year/A2 Level Maths. Extension 2 is more nuanced. It has blended modules from 2nd year/A2 Level Maths and units from A-Level Further Maths through the modules on Complex Numbers, Vectors in 3D and Proof by Mathematical Induction. Hope that helps anyone 👍🏼

7:55 A cool trick my teacher told us that people in his time used to cheat the area under a curve was to cut out the given area under the curve with scissors and weigh the cut out paper. If you knew the density of the paper, then the area could be calculated numerically.

Gradient at a point. How can a point have a gradient? instantaneous rate of change. How can something change in zero time?

Yo dawg I heard you like integrating so I put a function in your function so you can integrate while you integrate.

So you're saying that the topics in Extension 2 are... extensions... of previous topics. I'm shocked by this development.

derivatives are NOT a "instantaneous rate of change" here is how;
instantaneous means one point in time.
change CANNOT happen in a instantaneous time.
this word is a oxymoron.
we are travelling when we don't have time. impossible.
