Easier way for 28:38 is that you can subtract 6 from y = x^2 + 2, such that the line AB now is on the x-axis. This gives a new equation of y = x^2 - 4. Limits will be the same, and you can integrate straight away.
One thing to note is that the curve is under the x-axis, so you’ll get a negative area, just remember to make it positive.

Would you be able to do a video on longer percentage calculations and also on area of shared regions on shapes?
Thank you

So this is what Madame meant when she said
"We don't need to know the exact area under the curve for a speed time graph just please draw the trapeziums I don't have three hours to explain the rest"

I believe there was an innocent mistake in the last example. The green area should be: 6-(x^2 +2), and integrated the new equation, we got (4x - x^3/3), then green area should be 32/3. If we like to find the purple area, it could be: rectangle - green = 24 - 32/3 = 40/3
