China will never let go off his pride. We have to either Make them understand Again or get Rid of them”

It all started when Napoleon told the westerners not to wake the sleeping lion. They've had this insecurity since then.

I would be curious to know what Kissinger and like minded american " think tanks " thinks at this Are they still of the opinion that China is benign Super power ?

I agree that Mosher's remarks are sometimes abrasive, but his conservative viewpoint has also loads of merits. Particularly in the long history of east Asia, Chinese foreign policy to adjacent countries such as Vietnam and Korea has been dictatorially coercive like any other super power in the world history.

" a worldview that China developed 2000 years Hello!? there is no 'worldview' 2000 years ago, imagine if China had a worldview not 2000 years ago but just 500-800 years

Well even if the chinese dream comes along with lifting many people out of absolute poverty, it comes along with an Orwellian surveillance state without any regards for values like personal liberty. But what i really really hate is the video description: "its five-thousand-year history of conquest and assimilation of other nations, repression of its own people, and confrontations with other civilizations." Without the 5000 years it sounds like the european civilization. Let us hope we can learn from our own extremely violent past, overcome our own racism and develop the unique and positive heritage of western thought : developing our democracy, personal freedom, equality of chances, taming of our increasingly merciless unsustainable and self deceiving oligarchic elite and a more unideological analysis of the cruel downsides of untamed capitalism.

You are promoting hate, fear and war, dude. Shame on you. Intellects should encourage learning, understanding and collaboration. China is promoting peace and collaboration with global leaders via the Belt and Road Initiative. It's an opt-in idea to jointly build out the old silk road. Countries along this old silk road has been wanting to build for centuries but no one is willing to fund these costly infrastructures. Now China proposes they can participate with anyone interested to build. No one is forced to do this. Anyhow, people like you are the cause that America has become the odd man out on the global stage. Even our best allies are distancing themselves from us. This will hurt the American people. Meanwhile, China is particating in large planetary challenges like climate change and eradicating poverty.

Ms Mosher you are saying China doesn't understand their own history. You claim to understand their history better than them. Ah, okay. Do you wish China to explain American history to the Americans? What makes you think we know their history, their culture, their philosophy and their challenges better than them? Do you hear your own ridicious arguments?

The problem with these so called Sinologists is that they tend to exaggerate their reports on either good or bad, positive or negative, stereotype or generalization. That is the only way that they can get some level of attention. That is the main reason that most long term Sinologists becoming extremely anti-China because they eventually realize where the money is. The money is at where they can be the mouth piece to instigate fear and insecurity from which they can generate more paid talks, book rights and more research grant. No one wants to hear rational discussion about China. There is no money is talking common sense. :)
