Remember the numerous US-African summits since President Obama? The US went to Africa with their one-sided proposals and told African nations to just accept the deals and not to work with China. Meanwhile, China acknowledged the differences between each African nation and asked them individually what they needed and offered contracts 5 times less costly than the US. Guess which country Africans went with?
