Ok when I 1st saw this I thought no way will it be this easy. Had to remove a bush today with 10 years of growth. OMG it took 2 min to saw around and pull it out. This works!! Thanks for sharing!!

The fact you did this video with no edits makes it even better! Shows real time on how long it took to do the job.

I use a 9” “wood with nails” blade. It’s aggressive with wood but doesn’t immediately dull. Started to use it cutting trees out of fence lines and now always have it in the truck!

I cannot thank you enough. I had to remove eight 10+' tall bushes that were 17 years old and had side roots up to 8" thick. While not easy, this was much easier than the alternatives. I am not much of a handy man, but I could do this. For those interested, I used a 12 amp corded DeWalt reciprocating saw with Milwaukee 9 in. 5 TPI AX Nail-Embedded Wood Cutting SAWZALL Reciprocating Saw Blades. I also used a 5" trenching shovel in between the inner and outer circles to allow me to better cut under the thick stump which was up to 2 feet across.

Part of me says "I don't want to abuse my saw to that", but a bigger part of me says "I don't want to hand dig and chop all those roots". I'm trying this tomorrow.

At 75 years old, I just did this last week! 12 in pruning blade (1) cut in angle towards the inside root of 30 in diameter and popped right up! Using my Milwaukee sawsaw . 30 minutes was done. NEVER TO OLD TO LEARN.

I still have my Milwaukee Super Saw Zall 40 years ago in Brooklyn NY when it fell off a truck. Used it many times for this purpose!

This is why I love YouTube. I would have never thought of that. I'm about to remove 200 sq ft of bushery from my property and this is going to make it so much easier. Thanks!

Sawzall is probably one of the most handy power tools ever invented.

I've been doing that for years. And this is my first year in business. Thanks for the reminder Keith. I haven't taken Roots out in a long time 👍
that's why channels like yours are so good you remind us of things we may have forgotten or didn't know to begin with.

Great Video! I just found my milwaukee sawzall in basement; got it all ready to use this weekend to remove 8 to 10 shrubs. waited 2 weeks for estimates to remove these shrubs (bec felt too old (60+) to do this big job myself). No estimates. So decided to do it myself -- got two shrubs using axe, lopper and shovel (it was a lot of work) and thought there HAS got to be an easier way to do this!! Came to youtube and found your video! Thank you for making video. I feel confident i can remove the remaining 8 or 10 shrubs with the sawzall!

I had to remove 8 Yew bushes. It took me 1 day to remove 2 pcs of them with a hacksaw and shovel till I saw your video. I bought a Hypertough reciprocating saw from Walmart for $58 and it worked like a charm. You are a lower back saver.

I'm taking down a hedge, some of it at least 50 years old. I got so fed up trying to dig them out, I thought about a towrope and my car, that's plain nuts so went to YouTube. Yours was the first that came up and this looks so much better. Got the gear on order, I will have my revenge. You are awesome.
