I have had moles removed, some turned out to be pre cancerous, others benign. They were taken off at the cancer hospital here in Buffalo. Being I have light skin, you have to be aware of any skin changes, i.e. moles. Luckily, those that have been found and removed did not get worse. Having a mole on your foot is concerning, as it doesn't not get the sun exposure, like your face and arms would. I have skin checks every year now. You just have to be proactive with this stuff. Stay away from tanning beds too.
