My horse: Rears at trailer and my saddle falls to the ground. Stomps on it a few times snapping the tree in multiple places.

“No Saddle November bish.”

I always ride bareback, me and my horse like it a lot better, it feels more free.. I do have to use one for running poles though lol

Ummm I'm not a pro equestrian or have any experience riding a horse without a saddle so Id like to ask is riding a horse without a saddle safe? Like for both the rider and the horse? Doesn't it hurt?
And is it compulsory to have a saddle on during competitions???
I'm sorry but I'm just curious.😗

when did this become a thing??? my trainer also made our group do that but because we were an advanced riding group cantering with no stirrups with the horses, we were provided with was so hard!! especially the horses that take anything as a sign to go!!!
