It’s a story about a dear person who I lost at a young age. I've always had a hard time dealing with this lost. She had the love of her life but suddenly wasn’t there anymore. And until the end she had the hope that her loved one would come back before she died. But he didn't. And that HOPE I put in this song and video. I shot the naked under water scenes with director/photographer Paul Bellaart. What we mainly wanted to represent in the video is HOPE. The water suface is, as it were, the HOPE of: the light, the dream or the love that’s up there to reach for. The nude reflects the vulnerability and perhaps the rebirth from HOPE ….”_
