WINNER'S PERFORMANCE: Duncan Laurence - Arcade - The Netherlands - Eurovision 2019

Duncan Laurence has won the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv with the song Arcade. This was his winning performance after receiving the trophy.

In my opinion, this is one of the most powerful moments in Eurovision history, and I'm not even Dutch. I may have been a year too late to congratulate Duncan on his victory as a fellow Eurovision winner alongside Måns Zelmerlöw, but this still gives me goosebumps every time I watch it or even think about it. They absolutely deserved it.

No sexualising/objectifying content, no exaggerated design, choreography and dancers to receive attention, no ideologies involved in the song to receive attention, no exaggerated costumes. PURE TALENT!

I like he fact that he won. He can sing amazingly, he put an amazing performance with a beautiful song, he has amazing stage presence and can control the stage, one of the best winners in my opinion.

He won the contest with an beautiful song and passion and a even more beautiful voice.

And he didn’t need to go all big and loud.
