Eurovision winner Duncan Laurence gets a warm welcome in The Netherlands!

Duncan Laurence won the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv on Saturday. On Sunday, he travelled back to The Netherlands where he got a warm welcome from the staff of Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.

After that, he arrived in a hall full of press, excited fans and family!

Very well deserved winner. It's about time Eurovision will be back to The Netherlands !

This year:

- Netherlands won again after 44 years.

- Switzerland entered top 5 again after 26 years.

- San Marino reached top 10 in televoting, and top 20 overall.

- North Macedonia won the juries, and reached top 10 overall.

So we can all agree that EVERY country has a shot at Eurovision. I just hope that, if San Marino keeps doing well, countries like Andorra, Monaco and Luxembourg will soon return. I have also missed Turkey and Bosnia&Herzegovina.

Anyway, congratulations once again to the Netherlands for bringing the best winning song of the decade (in my humble opinion). See you all next year!
