Currently, Nigeria has it's worst brain drain in history; many relocating from Nigeria to Canada through the Canada express entry, obtaining Canada PR (permanent resident in Canada). Others relocating from Nigerian to the US. Japa from Nigeria as often referred to, the Canada immigration story or American immigration experience is reeking havoc on Nigerian labor market. This is causing labor shortage in the IT industries and among Nigerian doctors.

Are you curious to know about Nigeria; once the largest economy in Africa, but became the 4th largest economy in Africa within two years. Nigeria economic crisis has also sparked protests in Nigeria in 2024. Largely, Nigeria hunger crisis, gave rise to the Nigeria hunger protest, due to extremely high inflation in Nigeria, rising food prices in Nigeria, food security, Boko Haram insurgency in Nigeria, Nigeria healthcare crisis, and a broken educational system in Nigeria.
