I got to New York for the gmax raids and although I come from Europe and can’t use roaming data, I had 16 shinies just from places with hotspots lol

You could definitely feel the bias towards Santa Monica, But in general, New York is just way better.

If it hasn't been said already I believe Sunset Park in Las Vegas is a real contender for the best grind spots. The lake is a perfect size for fast and slow grinders as the pokestops will respond before you make the lap creating a continuous flow of spawns especially during events.

I live about an hour and a half from nyc, its really good for moving around imo, cant speak on LA as ive never been there but nyc has always treated me good when i visit!

i think you probably know this, but Pier 39 is arguably way better in Santa Monica. Seems to be where spoofers hangout. Nonstop Lures and raids max out within seconds.
