Many Russians don't want this war and many other people would support Finland in their defense.

Winter War. 3 months a couple of weeks and a few days.

300, 000 plus Soviet casualties
70, 000 Finnish casualties.
That was with mostly old bolt action rifles.

The Finnish have much better equipment now and many of them are firearms enthusiasts.

It is a modern day shooting competition in the winter time.

The idea that Russia's military power is rated as high as it is after what we have been seeing is questionable.

How many have you seen stuck, out of fuel or broken down.
They do not have enough nightvision. Their generals sold it on Ebay.
The numbers on paper and the real thing appear to not be one in the same.

Russia invaded Ukraine with a couple of hundred thousand soldiers.

By this point in the Winter War they had already killed 100, 000 Soviet troops(mostly Ukrainian conscripts) and injured 200, 000 or so more.

Finland will be just fine.

The last time Finland wasn't fully prepared for war like in 1939 and still but up one hell of a fight in fact Finland beat that ass the first time the second didn't go as good. This time it's much different and Finland is much better prepared it will be bloody for the Russians.
