The tension with Russia boiling over for more than century is actually putting it mildly, as Russia has been raiding and pillaging Finnish territory for centuries. Soviet invasion or the Winter War was just one of the many excursions they have launched during those times.

The title is misleading. US will not have military bases in Finland. But if there is a crisis then Finland would invite US for help in short notice. There are plans and preparations for that situation so that the Finnish military is ready to accoomodate US troops if needed.

Well as a finn this video is made bit shock way, but its true, NATO and US troops get acces to our places. They Dont own them, and only for training and such small operations. They are not planning to build anyting so much new. Happy still that we are not alone!

Quite a few misleading statements and incorrect info in this video:
- Finland is granting access to military bases, that´s not the same as giving them. 
- Nato is no closer to Moscow than before Finland joining Nato because Estonia has already been a member for a long time and its border is even closer. 
- The Danes had never any kind of control over Finland, where did you come up with that?
- The Baltic countries did NOT refuse Stalin´s demands and were soon absorbed, Finland is the only country that resisted. Btw Finland is not considered a Baltic country, it´s Nordic.
- Viipuri (Vyborg) was the second largest City in Finland before WWII, not the 4th largest.
