Damon Braces System: 2nd wire change

I am still currently in the second phase of the Damon brace system. I got a power chain on the first 6 teeth to close the spaces I have. I had some concern about my guns he said it will go away when I get the braces off plus he's going to do a gingivoplasty (laser removal of some gum tissue because my gums because they are uneven and overgrown a little. Plus my pregnancy could be contributing to my gums overgrowing too. The doctor said it's not too much to worry about. Now I have the .018x.025 NiTi wire on now. It's kind of looks the same as the last wire but I could see that it is thicker than the last wire. She did tell me that the shape of the wire is rectangular. I'm keeping this wire in for 8 weeks.

Pain: My teeth were not in pain at first, but I tried to chew some gum and it did hurt just a little.

started on the second wire so I was now starting the second phase of the Damon brace system. So it was actually the third wire but MY second wire. My teeth in the back hurt. Like the last 4 teeth on each side of the top were hurting. This made it hard to eat because I'm pretty sure we all chew food on the back teeth. I kept that wire in for 10 weeks. This was the .014x.025 Damon copper arch-wire.
