We think that we live in the right tim because we can see so much, but one thing is for sure and that is the universe is constantly changing. In billions and billions of years the universe will expand so much that for a civilisation in a random galaxy the universe would be a single galaxy in lonely space surounded by an endless darkness, they will never see what we see today. Who knows what we cannot see? For us light is basically the only way we know so much about the past, i hope that we will find something so fundamental that will show us the secret of the universe, but im sad because it will probably not happen in my lifetime.
