Ukraine soldiers hold off Russian counter-attacks after capturing town of Andriivka

Ukraine’s 3rd Assault Brigade revealed battles ongoing near Bakhmut. Soldiers captured the town of Andriivka, south of the city, recently. They are now trying to hold it in the fact of Russian counter-attacks. Video reveals they are fighting in an apocalyptic landscape. Trees are shattered, the ground is scorched, and bodies lay everywhere. Troops must move between shell holes and flattened buildings. All while dodging Russian gunfire coming through the smog. Artillery also lands close by, in scene reminiscent of WW1. So far, Ukraine has repelled all Russian attacks on Andriivka. And inflicted heavy losses on Putin’s armies.
