I think the best idea is to automate something you have to do over and over again in your personal time or for your job, so you have more free time, at least this is how I got started with python and I still look for ways to use python to automate my business or my life in general.

By the way, you got some great ideas in the video too and most of them help you automate your channel more, which is nice. Also, I like the encryption idea, just for the awareness of how unsafe is to communicate on apps that store your messages in plain text.
