// My Story

I am currently a software developer who once modeled and thought I wanted to pursue a career in the fashion industry. While I was modeling in Hong Kong, I eventually felt the desire to further my education. I decided to depart the modeling world and move back to Canada, knowing that could be the end of my modeling opportunities. I attended Ryerson University for GCM (Graphic Communications Management), as I thought I might still work in the fashion industry in another capacity. It was in my last year of university, I was introduced to a very basic coding course. I instantly fell in love. From there I knew I wanted to pursue software development but didn't have a clue where to start. I didn't want to go back to university as I just completed a four-year degree. I decided to enroll in a 10-week intensive coding Bootcamp. From there I started working at a small startup learning and growing my technical and soft skills. I then transitioned to a larger company where I am a software developer and technical consultant today.

I am soooo proud of myself!!! I just finished my Hangman game and I wrote it completely on my own with no tutorials. What database of words did you use for your Hangman game? Or did you just create a small list of words as proof of concept?

I code python using replit and teach my students python and advance python and they enjoy these projects. They feel they have accomplished a lot. Python is fun to write and easy to understand.
Young minds must learn this language, it's a game changer

Hello! I also made a hangman project with a course i bought online. But i don't see it as a full project.

It is just a block of program that is existing in the IDE. and it looks ugly when i let other people play it because IDE GUI is not actually attractive and these block of codes are confusing to players..

MY big question is:

How do we actually turn these programs from IDEs and export them or convert them to actual applications? like in websites or mobile phones? where they have a nice Interface and such? because for me, a fully finished project of hangman is not just finishing the program but actually converting it to a usable application for the people outside.

i am new to programming so i cannot see the connection between the finished IDE programs and all the executing part etc.

Wow how did you know I'm all about python right now? I actually just started a class about secured python applications and I'm building a python application for someone as well to find different resources within a radius of zip code.

I have often wondered, I work with Python 3.9 within a proprietary software environment that provides its own set of tools for interfacing with, manipulating, and visualising data. It's standard Python 3.9, plus the usual suspects - numpy, pandas, scipy, etc, with the ability to install any other libraries if needed.
I have a collection of projects that are optimised for this environment, but how could I showcase these to potential employers outside my industry who would never want to pay the basic $40k license fee to see some Python running on data they probably know nothing about...?

How do you learn python 2 in 2003 ? All the python books that I found were on python 3 . I wish I picked up programming as a kid I would probably be making the big bucks and have a beautiful wife by now .

perhaps I may be perceived as a bit harsh, but if someone cannot learn to code at least at some basic level with Python, then maybe they should not try anymore.
I know a couple of people who fit into this category. It's not fun to see, especially when they can be extremely competent in other areas of their job. At some point, when, after hours of explaining, and numerous different videos, books, and websites on the subject, they cannot iterate over a list without errors, it's time to give up.

You made an Elon Musk Discord bot? So you basically programmed it to lie a lot, and take credit for other people's work?
