Thank you! I have my first mikrotik router and switch on the way and this is very helpful! In my case, the switch will be before the router as the router i'm getting only has 1 SFP+ port but the switch has 4

I moved to a new (plinq) fibre/tv provider (250/250) and just returned an ubiquity cloud gateway ultra because it can't route ip-tv signals from dutch kpn into a separate vlan and does neither connect over ppoe on the standard 2, 5GbE port.

The old trusty microtik I received 15 years ago was able to just untag ip-tv, telephone and internet into 3 separate ports and this is the reason I want to buy again a microtik.

If you would have the time to send me a pm with some advice, i would be very grateful.
