My heart breaks that picture of her when she just turned 13 and knowing now that she was being abused. This mother needs to go to jail, she’s changed her story several times now, talked about her daughter in the past tense before her body was even found, and is as cool as a cucumber not long after she reported her child missing.

I unfortunately went through a few sexual assaults done by men (family friends) by the time I was Maddie’s age. In fact, many of my incidents occurred between 11-13 years of age. Sick. Maddie abuse in the hands of mom’s boyfriend is sickening. Maddie’s mom knew what was going on. You can’t convince me otherwise.
