Sometimes, silence sounds better than music.

Why in the hell would you associate this song with an Auschwitz’s gas chamber?

Imagine your horrific and unthinkable deaths after 100 years... being overplayed by pop songs and emojis. How far we've gone...

I am Polish and living near this place, the German concentration camp Auschwitz-Birkenau in Oświęcim in Lesser Poland near Czech and Slovakia. I have been there many times and each time I have tears in my eyes. I think how many Poles, Jews and other nationalities were murdered here by the Germans in gas chambers. I once heard a German politician say that Poles need to be financially starved. I don't know if she realizes how it sounds to the ears of Poles who were starved and then murdered wholesale in such camps. My great-grandmother's older sister and their mother were taken away by German soldiers somewhere and to this day it is not known where they took them and where their graves are. A few years later, my great-grandmother gave birth to my grandmother and her sister, her daughter. They were taken to this death facility. Great-grandmother did not survive. She was killed in such a chamber. grandmother and her sister survived thanks to the Americans. They were both 5 years old then. My grandmother told it to my mother, my mother told it to me, and I will tell it to my daughter when she grows up a little. My grandmother was 99 years old when she died 12 years ago. My grandmother told me when I was little that if I have something to eat and drink, I have a roof over my head and I have someone to love, I have everything.

the disrespect is loud. imagine you’re family was murdered, and someone came to video it with some rnb music and posting it online for likes. very disgusting and disrespectful, show this to your grandparents or great grandparents, see how they find it “respectful” you’ll have a different thought of mind if it was YOUR family that was murdered, in such a sickening way. disgusting, embarrassing to be a human being

*Just so you know - there is ABSOLUTELY NO FVCKING WAY that either Bono or the other members of U2 would approve of their music being used for the soundtrack to such a solemn, sacred, tragic spot....!!!*

This is not a movie. We should show respect to the 1, 5 million victims.

“Its just a shower” one of the saddest lines in the movie

It's so eerie to get a first person view inside an actual room where so many innocent people were executed for nothing. The moment the cameraman touched the wall, my only thought was how that very wall was the last thing so many people touched during that period as they were knowingly about to die. Damn the Nazis. I hope it's a time period that will always be remembered so that history never repeats itself.

My grandparents were Slavic Polish living up the road from where they would burn my people alive. Grandmother was shot twice from a plane overhead twice in the leg at 16yo and survived!
I lost a lot of family in that war just as millions of other people did too!
Maybe show some respect

My great-grandmother was a prisoner of Auschwitz, she died not long after my mother was born, she told all the horrors of that time, how they were fed rotten potatoes, worked in hot weather all day, most children and people died before her eyes. She was Dr. Mengele's "Angel of Death" test subject At the time she was 16 years old, and by nationality she was Russian and half Greek. It was a horror, according to her, all her loved ones at the time of World War II were killed in a concentration camp. After the Red Army liberated Auschwitz, she worked as a librarian, she died of liver cancer.God rest her soul. I am proud of my family's history. You can ask questions if you are interested in more
