After Lyla asks Tim for a favour he gives reformed juvenile Santiago some lessons in blocking to help them both get on the Dillon Panthers roster.

From Season 2 Episode 6 'How Did I Get Here?' : Key evidence implicates Landry, as Tami's sister stirs up things in the house and Riggins must prove to coach Taylor that he wants to be a part of the team.

Show Synopsis: One of the highest praised and most critically-acclaimed series on television, this compelling drama from executive producers Brian Grazer and Peter Berg takes place in Dillon, Texas, a community obsessed with the status of its high school football team. The head coach, Eric Taylor (Kyle Chandler), constantly feels the pressure of the town's expectations as he leads this troubled and conflicted team throughout the season. While offering unique insight into an outsized, bigger-than-life Texas culture, Friday Night Lights really tells a story universal for all audiences--that there is more to life than victory, and that there is more to being a man than being a winner.

It’s a shame the writer’s strike ended up ignoring Santiago’s character upon return.

What was funny was that Riggins thought since Taylor was back, everything was going to be wishy washy and he was going to slide into his fullback position. After missing 2 weeks of practice and 2 games, (one of each on Taylor) he got sacked. Turns out before he was allowed to come back, Riggins getting kicked off the team humbled him a lot.

And now he is getting the glory he deserves as a 99 overall running for Texas State averaging over 300 yards a game on NCAA 25 road to glory

Tim Riggins was helping Santiago Herrera with Block drills as a Middle Linebacker. I didn't know that Santiago Herrera got out of jail, he's an Ex-Convict. Tim Riggins gives Santiago a Lesson, and I didn't know that he's a Mexican-American in Texas.

The first season of this show was filmed at my high school, Pflugerville High School, my junior year. I got to be in 2 crowd scenes, don’t know if it made the show or not nor care. Watched the first episode, saw the QB “break his back” but wasn’t in position so wiggled to be in it and never watched another episode after that.

Love this channel but please post new clips, not just reposting your most viewed videos

Why in the hell Riggins didn't tell coach WHY he left for Mexico, to keep Street from getting himself killed! I think Coach might have given him a little grace for that.

If this scene had been written and directed by a woman it would have involved crying and the coach giving the guy a chance for just trying the first hit unsuccesfully
Truth!!!
