Thanks for this video. I'm going to EMT 3 month course next week, I am looking forward to this training and lifestyle. I've always wanted to become a first responder. I've assisted (and been there first) during 6 car accidents just as a regular Joe. I just could never walk away from people who are hurt, so now I want to do it full time.

I took the EMT course in 2017 & passed top of my class but unfortunately I doubted myself too much & never took the NREMT after failing my practice test. So now I’m starting the process again, so wish me luck.

I loved this! Coming from a law enforcement background ( trying to convert career tracks) this was really relatable. I would love to hear your perspective on mental health in your field and anything you would suggest to help better prepare yourself for hard cases going in? I have found this tends to be a taboo topic and would love to get some insight from someone in your specific field of work? In the meantime I’ll keep searching your vids in case you have already covered this.

What would you suggest for someone who has a little trouble with spelling, I really believe this is what I wanna do, just not being able to spell as good as I should scares me.
