Never bend a pipe and insert it under torque into a fitting. Fittings OFTEN can not handle this and begin to leak sooner or later.

So you go from copper pipe and a strong spigot to plastic McDonalds toy quality pipes and spigot that will only last a year or two at best, got it!

If you returned those shark bites you could have used the money to buy a proper PEX crimper for $20 and done it the right way.

I bet that shark bite leaked like a mofo being all crooked, I mean I’ve rarely used sharkbyte but if I did it definitely didn’t seal unless the pipes are stress free straight online

When you say shut the water off to the spigot but then you show yourself turning off the actual spigot make it look like that's all you have to do in order to cut the pipe.

Lets all take a moment to appreciate fixing something that isnt broken. Id like to replace a perfectly good valve with ome that will break, leak, or wear out pretty quick thus creating more of a headache
