Samsung gives us our first look at its Galaxy Ring. It's stuck behind a glass box, though, so we can't touch it... for now.

I'd love it if they had a function to make your phone make a crazy loud alert if you go too far away from your phone to prevent loss and theft while wearing a ring like this. Of course you'd have to be able to turn it off if you want too but it'd be a nice feature to have for peace of mind.

Not sure how they'd do this but I really want them to somehow figure out how to put a small vibration motor in it so I don't miss any notifications without having to wear a watch. Maybe in a future iteration.

I hope they don’t go with a subscription model like Ōura. With Ōura you drop $300 on a ring and still have to pay $6 monthly. Adding $120 per year of ownership. Boo.
