Might be time for me to go back to Android/Samsung from an iPhone. I really should be using health tracking overnight, but I just can’t use a watch or anything else. Ring would be perfect and I just didn’t like Oura’s switch to subscription system. Here’s hoping Samsung won’t do subscription system as well.

Been wearing Gen2 Oura ring since 01/2021 and love it. To date no issues whatsoever, yet subscription has kept me from switching to Gen3 version. If there is no subscription on Samsung ring, then I'll consider buying it when its more advanced versions are introduced in a year or two.

I wouldn't mind a Matt Black version and I'm hearing a few companies aren't following Oura with a subscription service... which makes them more cost effective, Samsung aren't usually focused on monthly subs, so fingers crossed.
