Thanks Josh. I've never seen the command line tools for swapping the kernel before. This was super informative.

Great vid man!
Only problem that I had was that, since I was trying to downgrade my kernel, just using the command sudo mhwd-kernel -i linux515 didn't do anything, so I had to use the command sudo mhwd-kernel -i linux515 rmc, but it also didn't work, because it left behind the kernel i wanted to downgrade to and the one I was using, so I had to run it again and then it did the job.
But I thing this only happened because I was trying to downgrade.
But aside that, amazing vid!

Thanks for this. Steam/Proton acting wacky as heck, and seems like prime-run is not actually using my discreet GPU when I try to launch games. Drivers are all setup correctly so hoping its a kernel switch thats needed.

Optimus on Intel laptops is uber lame. Linux got me eyeballing AMD for GPUs. Always been AMD for CPUs. Linux is going to make me go completely team red.

The remove feature is gone when I install the latest lts kernel.
How do I safely revert back to 5.15?

Pro tip for permanent bigger terminal font:

sudo chmod 770 /usr/share/konsole

Right click terminal window, click Edit Current Profile, Appearance, Choose. Set it and forget it!
