I loved Obama... just because Biden was his wing man doesn’t mean Biden has the goods.

More of these people need to run for Congress. Thank you Swalwell.

I like Swalwell and I respect him even more for seeing the writing on the wall and dropping out of the race. And waiting until the results of the first debate come in to decide is perfectly reasonable. I hope more candidates start to see reason.

I love Eric Swalwell. I'm glad he is going back to where he belongs. He is a good Representative and committee member. I enjoy his TV appearances.

Swalwell is *not* the first candidate to drop out of this primary. That was Richard Ojeda.

The United States' obsession over money...is deeply troubling.

Please democrats, bring the candidacy down to 5, and everybody else run for the soon vacancy in the Senate. We need to take control and hold on to the house.

Bernie only got 18 million Q2 but still had over 250, 000 more individual donations than Trump who collected over 100 million Q2, and was more individual donors than both Biden and Warren's Q2 combined. Just sayin

Swalwell had a great firearm buyback proposal. Hopefully he will continue to push for it in Congress.

Only talked abt amount of money raised, how about number of individual donors? Bernie Sanders have more than 1 millions individual donors, near four times more than anyone in the race. (Except Warren at near 3 times)
With the average of 18 dollars per person.

So Elizabeth is doing what Bernie did in 2016 and is continuing to do today. Why act like this is so innovative? And why is Warren's platform so novel when she's saying the same things as Bernie has for years? Can it be any more obvious that they are ignoring Bernie by gushing over Elizabeth Warren like she's so unique? I'm not bashing Warren here and would vote for her if she is the nominee. I'm just disgusted at the way the media is fawning all over her while at the same time ignoring and dissing the one person, who is also running, whose platform she has copied. We should all be asking WHY the Corporate MSM is doing that. This doesn't make sense. Do the Corporatists know that Warren is malleable and Bernie is not? Or is it the first female president issue once again? Something is not wrong with this picture and we need to pay attention as to WHY the MSM, pushing the Corporate agenda, is promoting any candidate other than Bernie, ESPECIALLY the ones who have a similar platform. What is going on here? What don't we know?

In the visual 2 D art world, there are original works of art and there are prints of that work. Most people know the difference between the two, primarily because prints are cheaper. Some people prefer to own original work and there are multiple reasons why. One reason is because they want the piece the artist created with their own hands, i.e., it's real. Others choose prints, often because they like the image and it looks good with their decor as well as being more affordable. These days, prints are often indistinguishable from the original---the image is there, the colors are true, etc. But something's missing. Those who buy prints know they are buying the IMAGE of an original work that has been printed with ink onto a piece of paper, canvas, wood, metal or fabric, but the print is missing what I consider the essence of the artist---- intention, emotion or soul that one finds in the original. There's nothing wrong with purchasing prints if what people want is the image. It is real in the sense that you can see it, hold it, feel it, but it's not the same. And everyone knows that without the original, the print would not even exist.

I can't imagine why Swalwell quit -- I was tied in the polls with him at 0%. I can't believe the airhead Marianne Williamson is still running though.

It's important to note that in the 2nd Quarter (which these reported $'s are from), Bernie raised his money from 1 million contributors. No one else even broke 300, 000 contributors, other than Warren, who only got 384, 000 donors. This is major. It means that Bernie has a much broader base of strong support, and, since his average donation is much lower ($18), it means a much greater proportion of his supporters are likely lower middle class and working class. This means he has a lot more people who are committed to coming out to vote for him and will be convincing others to do the same. And, no, I am not saying this because I'm a Bernie supporter. I will not be voting for Bernie. I am a hard core Tulsi supporter, because I believe that killing people and causing mass suffering and environmental damage through war is the worst thing the US does (and it does a lot of it).

They need to start dropping out and begin running for senate if possible.

Let's talk about those fundraising numbers Joy. Pete raised raised $24.8 million from 294k "individual donors", Biden raised $21.5 million from 256k donors, Liz raised $19.1 million from 384k donors (I suppose this is the "army of individual donors" you're speaking of), Bernie raised $18 million from 1 MILLION ACTUAL INDIVIDUAL DONORS. Translation: Sanders has more grassroots support from more voters and less from large dollar donations that are unrepeatable and most likely don’t represent the majority of the American people. MSNBC is hard at work creating a narrative downplaying Sanders’ success and popularity as usual. We see through you.
