We can't even stop using sentient animals as resources. We KNOW they are sentient but we view them as property in completelly trivial reasons of mostly palatte pleasure. Why would we think we would treat sentient AI any better?

Notice how in every single interviews on western media, the interviewees can't help but slid in a negative comment about China accompanied by a nod (like "know what I mean") or a nervous laughter (like "laugh with me"). Know how sly they are when you are dealing with your adversaries.

A bit of an epiphany. Prediction: The talk around longevity and life extension is going to skyrocket. Why? Because the average person will soon begin to “believe” (the operative word) that their investment in time and or inquiry regarding longevity for them personally, will be time well spent…well justified. This will be the tipping point where behaviors around this market statistically changes forever. When human beings begin to believe that they can live longer, they will immediately begin to change their behaviors to match those beliefs.

"AI" : 1) is coded by humans who most of the times aren't really that smart and make huge mistakes 2) AI evolve within electronic architectures that HAVE NO PLASTICITY ( as opposed to the human brain ) 3) have no ability whatsoever to reencode themselves ( as opposed to the human brain )

Now "AI" has lots of things for it : 1)Access to giant databases instantly ( which is actually what makes it LOOK smart ) 2) and number of operations that it can do at the same time

But please stop the bullcrap about " A.I" 's supposed "sentience" to come utterly laughable from a scientific standpoint ; and painfully fails at masking the huge stock pricing markup Helper those grandiose claims try to achieve .... A.I is just a glorified bubble sorting algorithm that looks smart because it turns on giant databases ...This needs to stop
