The AE86 became a favorite in Japan as soon as it hit the showroom floor, and its popularity exploded worldwide thanks to the street racing manga and anime, Initial: D. But, for as many fans as this car has, relatively few people have ever driven one, leading many to wonder just what does it feel like to drift in the AE86 “HachiRoku”? My friend Dennis handed me the keys to his 3SGE Beams swapped trueno so I can see how easily my S-chassis techniques carry over as I share my drift impressions of this JDM cult classic.
